Bob & Phil bring down the house in Beantown
Wednesday night (3/7/18) saw Anderson .Paak & Phil delivering intense energy over two sets+encore that lasted past the midnight hour. Personal highlight: hearing a live cover of Daniel Lanois' "The Maker," which was a first for me. Larry Campbell and wife Theresa Williams made appearances in the second set, with Larry showcasing his skills on several stringed instruments. Other than a mediocre Touch of Grey encore and an exaggerated one hour+ intermission, the show was a blast.
Thursday night (3/8/18) was truly unforgettable and captivating, marking one of the most memorable shows in my 39 years of attending Dead-related events. Notable performances included Girl From The North Country, a delightful Cosmic Charlie, Morning Dew, and an encore of It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. However, the standout moment for me was witnessing one of the best Cumberland Blues renditions ever. Campbell and Williams once again joined the band at the start of the second set.
TONS OF FUN!
